Patches I have created, well there is only one so Patch would be more accurate than Patches.
Patchfile Applies to Description What it looks like
gimp-opacity.patch Gimp 1.2.x This patch will modify most of the places where you can select opacity of something, layers, channels, paintbrush, etc. All this patch does is add a spin button to the horizontal scale bar that was already there so you can now type in an exact number for the opacity. There are a few places where you can't type in an *exact* number, like in the layers channels & paths window. The reason you can't type in an *exact* value sometimes is that the opacity for the layers are stored internally as 8bit integers which have a value of 0-255, the opacity you set via the slider/spin button has a value of 0-100. If you type in an opacity value of say 50 that basically means take the maximum value possible (255) and multiply it by 0.5, so you get 255 * 0.5 which is 127.5 which then gets rounded to 127 and the opacity number gets updated to 49.8. So if you type in a value and it gets changed to something close, thats why. Top image is the before image, the blue shaded area is what gets changed.
