Here are some pictures that I have made over the years...

Preview Information
Ringed planet and nebula Planetscape:
Resolution: 1600x1200 (160KB)
If you really want to recreate this image I used POV to render it. This pov file uses some experimental features of POV v3.0 that have been recently changed, so you will need POV v3.0 to render this. Here are the source files, the height map is a much smaller version of the one used in the actual render due to its size:
·planet.tar.gz (248K)

Something that looks like and eye The Eye:
Resolution: 1600x1200 (79KB)
A picture of an eye, I was going to use this for a texture map for something but I forgot what.
Face with moon Ataraxia:
Resolution: 1600x1200 (275KB)
This is something I was using as a background for a while.
Little penguin Penguin:
Resolution: 1600x1200 (94KB)
This was my attempt at learning how to use Blender. The sky background and reflection were both post processing additions. Anyway if you want to use this model in Blender here it is:
·penguin.blend.bz2 (497K) This is for people who have the bzip2 compression program aka UNIX people.
·penguin.zip (710K) This is for you Windows people who need a zip file.
*All the textures should be packed in the blend file, if not send me an email and I'll fix it.

Bad Moon Bad Moon:
Resolution: 1600x1200 (198KB)
Yet another one of my background images that I sometimes use. You might see some similarities between this image and the Ataraxia image above, there is a reason for that.
Wierd thing Mind Bender:
Resolution: 2400x2400 (105KB)
This is something I scanned out of an old Omni magazine. To get it to work do the following:
·Print this out and punch a hole in the middle.
·Find a record player. (or some other way to get this to spin at a fairly constant speed of about 33-45 rpm)
·Stare at the center of the image with it filling up a good portion of your vision from above while it rotates for about a minute.
·Look at something, pictures work pretty good.

-I'm not responsible if this thing makes your head explode or otherwise makes you feel less that desireable.

Click here for an animated gif of the thing spinning 320x320 (412KB) its kinda small but it works on a somewhat limited scale.
Unless otherwise noted pictures are: © 2002 Kevin Gardner
